Hello

IMG_4076Hi, and welcome to my new blog! I’ve been a highly competitive athlete all my life in snowboarding and soccer as well as other activities. As a kid I was always active and spent most of my time playing outdoors, I would ride my bike, jump on the trampoline, skateboard, and practice sports in the yard. As I grew up and got more serious about athletics I was introduced to the importance of training and conditioning to improving performance. I begin to run a few times a week and do push-ups and sit-ups in my room. About two years later I was introduced to a snowboarding/gymnastics coach who radically changed my life and perspective on how to treat myself. He challenged us to go two weeks without eating processed foods and drinks and to see how we felt. And while I did miss brownies and ice cream I was amazed at how good my body felt. Since then I’ve learned more about nutrition and training and what my body needs. This is a lifelong passion and journey of mine and I’m excited to share it with you!
